Technologies, and robots in particular, are already an integral part of everyday life, including in the service sector. What does “Piero” offer to help modernize business in Bulgaria?
– Robots have been with us for more than 40 years, helping us in every sector of production, in diagnosing diseases, in surgical interventions. Recently, more and more robots are coming into our homes as autonomous vacuum cleaners, voice assistants, artificial intelligence. In this line of thinking, a completely new niche in customer service opened up before us. At “Piero” we currently offer three types of robots that revolutionize the world of restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, shopping centers, medical facilities, and even production facilities.
Why Did You Focus on the Technological Niche Related to Robotic Customer Service?
– For us, it is nothing new to invest in innovative products, previously unknown in Bulgaria. For example, the autonomous robots for sushi preparation, which have been working for more than 15 years and supporting the work of many of our clients in Bulgaria and abroad. The sushi business is becoming more popular with each passing year, and robots allow its easy launch in any new facility regardless of its size, as well as the integration of sushi menus into already operating businesses such as supermarkets, restaurants, hotels and others.
It is precisely our desire to be different and our interest in the new that helps us attract many clients literally from around the world. As an example, I will mention our kitchens built in the private villas of some of the most famous people in the world, located on Mustique island in the Caribbean, also called “The Island of Millionaires”. We have clients from all over Europe, Israel and others.
Of course, we also partner and work for years with some of the largest restaurant chains in Bulgaria.
The ambition to be different, to be innovators and to help business develop led us to our newest adventure – the little robots – “helpers from the future”.
Where and how can the little robots be used? How is their effectiveness measured?
– I believe that today we are predicting the future of robotics and artificial intelligence and their implementation in business in Bulgaria. At “Piero” we believe in automated solutions and that these robots will work together with us and that together we will generate economic value and sustainability for our clients in every sector. This means faster customer service, more realized production, lower costs, optimization of the entire work process, and, of course, all the power of interactivity and additional advertising that robots bring with them.
The latest additions to the new “staff” are the “helpers of the future” BellaBot, KettyBot and CC1. What activities can they perform in different types of business facilities?
– #Bellabot and #Kettybot are oriented towards serving restaurants, hotels and large shopping centers, supermarkets and generally – places where robots act as hosts, waiters, guides, promoters and interactive assistants.
On one hand, robots work together with “traditional” waiters. Besides being attractive, helper robots are extremely useful in carrying orders and serving, saving multiple returns to the kitchen, the tedious carrying of dirty dishes. As a result, service productivity increases by more than 30 percent. With their carrying capacity of 40 kilograms and 12 hours of operating duration, they become tireless workers, which provides the opportunity for staff to concentrate on better customer experience, to familiarize them with the menu, with good wines, as well as to manage to take orders on time.
At the same time, on the other hand, placed in a supermarket or shopping center, robots become marketing specialists on wheels, providing customers directly with goods, promotional materials, information, advertising and interactive engagement.
From this year we also offer the new #CC1 – an autonomous robot for cleaning large business areas such as malls, hospitals, schools, airports, restaurants, hotels, office buildings. In addition, CC1 provides cleaning of various types of flooring, as well as dry and wet cleaning.
How Do Businesses and Customers in Bulgaria Accept Robots, What are the Reviews, What is the Effect?
– Robots are received extremely well by both businesses and customers. It is precisely their easy integration and working with them that makes them an even more attractive product for every sector. The reviews are more than positive, regardless of what niche and sphere they are implemented in – restaurants, pastry shops, supermarkets, hotels. Their usefulness is indisputable, and on days of high social activity by consumers – the so-called “stories” with robots are everywhere and on social networks.
The business effect of the presence of little robots is already a fact – sustainability, hygiene, staff support and maintaining the number of employees even with increased workload. On the other side are satisfied customers, leaving with a smile and unable to wait to return again, and after them the friends they have told.
And not least is the attractive presentation and positioning of goods and advertising information in every supermarket, shopping center, gallery, business centers. Also, catering and advertising at planned events such as awards, forums and conferences are taken to a completely new level.
All this gives more than a positive impact on business in several directions – uniqueness in customer service, facilitation of the work process, brand and product recognition, increase in sales, interactive and unique advertising, cost reduction.
